18th Annual Gala Wine Tasting
On Friday, February 13, 2009, Friends of Strong hosted their 18th Annual Gala Wine Tasting at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. There were more than 300 red and white domestic and imported wines and champagnes to taste. The tasting was held continuously from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. In addition to wonderful wines, guests enjoyed cheeses, breads, warm hors d'oeuvres, and desserts.
The evening continued with music by the Matt Valerio Trio. There was also be a silent auction and raffle of donated items. Over $10,000 was raised for patient care needs at Strong Memorial Hospital.
