Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES)
BOCES is a public, non-profit organization created to provide shared educational programs and services to school districts and to improve students' academic performance. Four BOCES programs serve Monroe County and the surrounding area.
Programs are tailored to community needs and may include: opportunities for adult learners to enter or re-enter the workforce with new or upgraded skills; job search techniques; and resume preparation. Some sites offer training in health occupations, including dental and medical assistant, medical terminology and transcription, basic phlebotomy skills, certified nursing assistant, and license practical nursing courses.
