When You Care... Send Flowers
The florists in Rochester are very familiar with our hospitals and our flower delivery policies.
Here are a few facts to consider when ordering flowers:
- Flowers are generally not permitted in any of the Intensive Care Units.
- Our volunteer staff delivers flowers up until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
- You don't need to know the patient's room number, the florist will check room numbers when the flowers are delivered.
Hospital Gift Shop
Cut flowers are available through the Friends of Strong Gift Shop. It is located in the hospital’s Main Lobby. They can also help you in ordering flowers for delivery. Hours are:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
