Conditions We Treat

There are four different types of presbycusis:

Sensory presbycusis results in abrupt loss of the ability to hear high frequencies and tones
Neural presbycusis reduces your ability to understand speech
Strial or metabolic presbycusis produces relatively flat hearing loss
Cochlear conductive presbycusis is characterized by a more gradual loss of the ability to hear high frequencies
