Our Services - Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) / Transition Unit (TU)
The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) and Transition Unit (TU) provide quiet areas for children who require further evaluation or need to wait for admission to the hospital.
The CDU is located down the hall from the Pediatric Treatment area, and is used to further evaluate some children, provide additional treatment, such as intravenous medications or fluids, or to provide a place for patients who are waiting for a bed on the pediatrics floor.
