Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

Our Services and Programs

The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong provides a full range of services for all children with blood diseases and cancer within Rochester and the surrounding 11-county area. The Division also cares for children with bone marrow failure and congenital immune deficiencies. And because treatment for childhood cancer is traumatic for both the child and family, we offer a full range of clinical and support services to address both the physical and emotional needs of the child and family.

Our services include:

  • Consultations on complicated cases
  • Outpatient and inpatient care
  • Short-term and long-term care, and disease management
  • Pediatric medical oncology treatment
  • Pediatric radiation oncology treatment
  • Pediatric surgical oncology treatment
  • Pain control
  • Second opinions
