Strong Start Program
The Strong Start Program at School 12 is an academic and social enrichment program for kindergarten, first and second grade students who are identified as needing additional support.
The program is a partnership between our Social Work Division and the Rochester City School District. A social worker and certified teacher facilitate the program. The approach combines intensive remediation and multidisciplinary tactics to address the acute needs and global problems of participating students and their families.
