Ronald McDonald "House Within the Hospital"
A new 7-bedroom Ronald McDonald House within Golisano Children's
Hospital at Strong is now open to families. It
gives parents of our most critically ill children a welcoming
place
to rest and recover, while still being just minutes
away from their child. This facility is only the fourth in
the world of its kind, and the first in the Eastern U.S! In addition
to warm and homey bedrooms, guests have access
to a private bathroom and shower, a large, fully equipped kitchen,
living room, laundry room, and other amenities. Perhaps most importantly,
families find the support and comfort of others who share
the experience of having
a seriously ill
child.

Ronald McDonald House on Westmoreland Drive
The 20-bedroom house at 333 Westmoreland Drive has been a warm
and peaceful refuge for parents of sick or injured children since
1990. The house is within easy walking distance of Golisano Children's
Hospital at Strong; van transportation is available.
