Orthodontic Craniofacial Team

The Division of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, located at the Eastman Dental Center within the University of Rochester, plays an integral role on the Craniofacial Team.

Our orthodontists collaborate with surgical and non-surgical team members to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient care. The treatment of individuals with craniofacial deformities will often require orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic treatment during various stages of facial development. The role of the team orthodontist can vary from providing conventional orthodontic treatment to participating in the surgical correction of skeletal jaw and facial deformities.

Our primary goal is to provide the highest standard of patient care from a multidisciplinary approach, as well as to integrate orthodontic training and research.
