Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Center
The Strong Sleep Disorders Center
Having
a restful night’s sleep is an important part of
feeling your best. Unfortunately, many children with craniofacial
anomalies are denied this simple, everyday part of life because
of sleep-related breathing disorders. The Strong Sleep Disorders
Center offers a full array of services to diagnose and treat
all
varieties of sleep problems in both adults and children.
The Center is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). To achieve this stamp of approval, the Strong Sleep Disorders Center met rigorous standards set out by the AASM, in which every aspect of its operations were analyzed including patient services, employee qualifications and center procedures.
At the Strong Sleep Disorders Center, specialists combine vast clinical expertise with sleep testing performed in comfortable surroundings. Children are treated by compassionate providers with extensive experience in pediatrics. Children aren’t just little adults. They require their own special environment and need to move at their own speed. Our providers specialize in creating a comfortable, non-threatening environment in which to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. From the first office visit, children are engaged in conversation and made to feel comfortable with their surroundings. We try to make each child’s stay as pleasant as possible, encouraging them to bring favorite videos, music and their favorite blanket or pillow. Our whole idea is to replicate a typical night’s sleep at home in which the child is totally at ease. Our technicians are fully trained in sleep medicine and have vast experience in testing children as well as adults.
Offices are conveniently located at 2337 S. Clinton Ave. (corner of Clinton Ave. and Westfall Road) with on-site parking.
