Patient Unit Secretary

The patient unit secretary works at the front desk and helps ensure that the unit operates smoothly. The secretary answers the telephone, orders equipment and supplies for the unit, schedules tests for patients, and can help find answers to most of your questions.

The secretary greets patients when they arrive on the unit and takes care of requests. They provide the unit's clerical needs and are a general resource for patients and families.
