Services and Programs
Pediatric Dentistry
The Division of Pediatric Dentistry provides comprehensive dental
care and consultative services for pediatric patients from
infancy through adolescence. We provide
emergency dental care for children and adolescents 24-hours
a day through The
Ronald McDonald House Charities Children's Emergency Department.
An important focus of the division is dental care for pediatric patients who have developmental disabilities, medically compromising conditions, and craniofacial anomalies. In addition, the division has a comprehensive clinical program for young preschool children with extensive dental decay.
The Eastman Dental Center is part of the University of Rochester Medical Center / Strong Health / Golisano Children’s Hospital care system. Basic dental health care is provided for children at the Center, at five permanent satellite clinics, at in-school dental clinics and through mobile dental units that visit Rochester elementary schools and day care centers in Rochester and surrounding rural communities.
