Experience and Special Interests

Dr. Maliakkal specializes in viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease and other liver diseases, liver/GI disease in patients with HIV, as well as in general gastroenterology. Prior to joining the faculty at the University
of Rochester, he was on the faculty at Albany Medical College for twelve years, where he was an Associate Professor.
