How to Estimate Your Risk
You have low risk if:
- Your age is 55 or younger, you responded "NO" to questions
1-15, you do not have an irregular pulse rate and your blood
pressure is 140/90 or less.
You have moderate risk if:
- Your age is 55 or older and you responded "NO" to questions
1-15
- Your age is up to 64 with one risk factor
- Your age is up to 64 with an irregular pulse
- Your age is up to 64 with a blood pressure at 140/90 or
more
You have high risk if:
- Your age is 65 or older with one risk factor
- Your age is 65 or older with an irregular pulse
- Your age is 65 or older with a blood pressure at 140/90
or more
- You are any age with two or more risk factors and an irregular
pulse
- You are any age with two or more risk factors and a blood
pressure at 140/90 or more
