OASIS is an education oriented national group, free and open to anyone age 50 or older, dedicated to helping its members discover (or rediscover) the joy of learning at any age. It boasts 6,000 Rochester-area members, 350,000 nationwide.

Learning–a Lifelong Adventure
Areas of interest that OASIS will help you explore include:

Also, if you need help learning to use the Internet, OASIS offers computer building skills for mature adults. Thanks to grants from companies and the U.S. Department of Commerce, instructors will quickly help you demystify the Internet.

OASIS membership brings you a free email address and the ability to produce free online greeting cards. Using OASIS, you can also join in discussion groups. And, if you have a suggestion for ideas you'd like to explore, the staff at OASIS is ready to respond.
