Testicular Trauma

Testicular trauma is basically any injury to the testicles, except for testes torsion. Testicular trauma most often occurs while a boy or man are playing a sport, and the testicles are hit or kicked. Trauma can range from minor and easily treatable with ice and rest, to more serious conditions, requiring medical attention. You should seek medical attention if you experience any of the following: scrotal swelling; any penetrating injury to the scrotum; prolonged pain, bruising or swelling of the scrotum, or fever.
